History

Weird n' Wild Creatures are a set of knowledge cards that were originally published by International Masters Publishers, Inc. from 2003 to 2010; the cards are no longer published. The cards contain information on over 800 creatures, from prehistoric to the present, as well as creatures of the imagination. The main cards are called Knowledge Cards, most of which also come with complimentary Trading Cards, which can be used to play various card games. They were delivered through the mail in 91 different packets, with the first one often sent for free as promotion. Along with first free one, they often had promotions for a free gift Package that came with a collector box and 2 more packets of cards, a glow in the dark dice and an extra gift that varied over the course of the card's publication. This extra gift was at various times a "Clip and go Gadget", a fossil set containing 6 different fossils or model of a dinosaur skeleton. Since no longer being published, they can be found on eBay and other internet selling sites.

Knowledge Cards

The knowledge cards are a set of large cards with information about animals (Creatures) of the present, past, and fantasy. There are 910 different cards in the complete set with 10 coming in each packet. The cards come in eight groups: Monsters of the Past; Nightmares of Nature; Toxic Terrors; Monsters of the Deep; Tiny Terrors; Strange Wonders; Monsters of the Mind; and Monster Mania.

Trading Cards

Trading cards are smaller collectible creature cards, which can also be used to play games. There are 728 cards in the complete set including Creature cards, Power-up cards and others. They come in groups of 8 with each packet of Knowledge cards.
